The gig was held in aid of the Mayor of Spelthorne’s Charities at Sunbury Cricket Club. Tim Renton the guitarist of ‘3AM’ writes:

“This year’s line-up features Karl Green, the former original and longtime base player in ‘Herman’s Hermits’, along with guitarist Gerry Cook, formerly of ‘The Saxons’ and now with a host of bands and Tim Renton from ‘3AM’ , plus bass players Martin House, also from ‘3AM’ and Roger Harding from the Thames TV Big Band , drummer Stephane Booroff from ‘Sky High’ and ‘The Escorts’, and who was formerly from ‘Edison Lighthouse’. Our harmonica player,  Geoff Forester, had to drop out last week because of a major dental problem, but we have been fortunate to be able to replace him with Paul King , original member of Mungo Jerry in their glory days, and more recently a regular at the Club with his band Skeleton Crew.”
