A founder member of 70s pop legends Mungo Jerry this Paul King is not to be confused with his namesake from the 80s. Paul started playing blues harp at the age of 14 and progressed to banjo at 16. He took up the guitar while convalescing from an appendix operation and started to write songs. The rest, as they say … is history.
Unfortunately, the Pyrford gig on 25th November has been cancelled. The good news is that two new dates have been added.
Paul has recorded eight tracks in Crete. We will provide full details just as soon as we can including information on the musicians involved. It is hoped that some of the tracks will receive some airplay on radio stations in Crete soon. Watch this space!
Paul has been playing a few small gigs over the last week or two. The next will be tomorrow evening at the Terrassa Bar/Restaurant in Elounda. He will be in the recording studio later this week and we are hoping that a live radio broadcast will be happening later next week. We will post any firm information on this as soon as we have it.
